SAVING GAS BY USING HHO - HOW HHO SAVES GAS  by

 Brandon Mchale
5/24/2008 at 06:09
HHO saves gasoline by assisting combustion.

HHO stands for hybrid hydrogen oxygen. This proven technology has been around since the late 1950’s and has had different applications. You can find schematics from torches to tractors. All of the applications are the same in the way that they use HHO to assist combustion. HHO is not a stand alone fuel source, it simply increases the efficiency of the combustion cycle. Put it this way " HHO gives you more bang for your buck! "

Stop paying for unused fuel

Current engines gasoline and diesel have unused fuel in the combustion cycle. Matter of fact the catalytic converter (1975) was introduced to act as a catalyst and improve emissions. Part of the emissions the catalytic converter converts is unused fuel. So what’s the big deal? Well, if you use HHO not only do you increase the efficiency of the combustion cycle, giving you more bang for your buck, you also do part of the catalytic converters job. So the big deal is, you increase horsepower emit cleaner emissions and gain miles per gallon, because you used the fuel more efficiently.

Remove carbon and increase your engines life

HHO has a side effect of removing carbon. The removal of carbon will decrease heat buildup increase efficiency and lead to less engine wear. Engine heat is a factor that leads to engine wear. Oil is used to assist this and lubricate the moving parts. Remove the carbon and you get less friction, less friction leads to less heat and ...

GET THE BEST GAS CAR MILEAGE  by

 Frank L Froggatt
4/17/2008 at 09:02
Todays world is getting more and more costly to live in. With the price of gas rising everyday it is important that we get the best gas car mileage possible. Sometimes we wonder if we’ll be able to afford to get to work because of the price increases .Getting the best gas car mileage possible is a very important in our daily lives. Sometimes we have to make decisions on whether to buy gas or food. I know I’m not the only one to have been put in that position. Let’s face it our economy is in decline and prices for necessities are through the roof.

There is a lot of hype out there about new fuel sources like ethanol. But what good has that done for the consumer. None I don’t think. They make ethanol out of corn and now the price of corn and grains has gone through the roof. Good for the farmers I suppose, but it hasn’t lowered our fuel prices. It just made the price of food go up as well as fuel. They got us at the pumps as well as the stores.

Fortunately there is a sound alternative to get the best gas car mileage possible. New research has developed a simple to install system for your car, truck, boat, diesel truck, or whatever you may drive. This system allows you to run your vehicle on water. Yes water. It can quickly turn your vehicle into a gas water hybrid and easily double your gas ...

GAS MILEAGE IMPROVEMENT - WHAT REALLY WORKS?  by

 Chuck Brown
4/17/2008 at 09:02
Now that gas is almost four dollars a gallon, improving gas mileage is becoming a necessity. It’s becoming too expensive to take long trips in a gas guzzler, such as a SUV. However, our wallets are getting drained just driving back and forth to work as well!

And when gas prices go up, the economy takes a hit because people have less disposable income; we stay home more, and that means a loss for the travel industry and hotels. And it’s likely that gas prices will not come down. Despite the depressing reality on fuel prices, there are things you can do to save yourself big bucks in the long run.

Since staying home from work is not an option for most people, carpooling is the first tactic that comes to mind. Also, mass transit solutions such as subways and buses. You could also ride a bike to work, but that is not always possible or reasonable for everyone. Still, it’s a good option for some and a great way to stay in shape.

But if you have to drive your own car, you can keep your engine in top shape, and make sure all filters are clean and clear, but the difference is not going to add up to much savings. Some people suggest that turning off the air conditioning and rolling down the windows will help with gas mileage improvement, but some think that having the windows down creates more wind resistance, nullifying the air conditioner savings.

Driving 60 or 65 max ...

IMPROVE YOUR GAS MILEAGE WITH A WATER FUEL CELL  by

 Adam Hefner
4/17/2008 at 09:01
Do you feel a little sick every time you pull up to a gasoline pump and fill your car’s tank? Are you anxiously awaiting the development of an invention or product that will stop the financial drain caused by the high prices of gas? Now you can improve your car’s gas mileage with a water fuel cell.

Scientists have talked a lot about improving fuel economy by increasing engine efficiency. They have published studies focusing on ethanol and hydrogen power. Neither of these alternatives is cost-effective, however, and the hydrogen power discussed actually causes increased air pollution.

Functional hydrogen power is actually available right now, and being used by an increasing number of people. What’s more, this power is extremely inexpensive, and the only byproduct of this fuel is water. The technological miracle responsible for this is the fuel water cell.

A fuel water cell is a quart-sized container that is installed under the hood of a vehicle. This device is filled with water, as well as a little bit of baking soda. One end of the device is attached to the engine’s exhaust, and is responsible for pumping spent fuel into the water cell.

The other end of this device is connected to the engine’s carburetor, or the intake manifold. A wire from the vehicle’s battery conducts a low-amp electrical current into the water. This current causes the baking soda to help the water split into hydrogen and water.

The hydrogen forms a gas, which is driven back into the intake manifold with the ...

GAS-SAVING SMART CAR DEBUTS IN THE UNITED STATES  by

 Shad Connelly
3/23/2008 at 11:29
In a time when gas prices have eclipsed the $3 mark and continue to climb, fuel-efficient vehicles have seen their stocks rise. With U.S. consumers finally moving away from gas-guzzling trucks and SUVs, smart, a division of Mercedes Benz, has decided to debut the smart fortwo - a two-person car that measures only 8.8 feet long - in the United States.

The smart fortwo is the shortest car on the market and the company claims you could fit two of them in a single parking space. The vehicle’s innovative design even earned it exhibit space in the Museum of Modern Art in New York City - one of only six cars ever to bear that distinction. With over 770,000 fortwos already on the road worldwide, smart is now ready to introduce this much-buzzed-about car to the U.S. market. The company has opened up an online smart fortwo Reservation Program, allowing interested buyers to reserve their choice of model and color for a $99 fee (applied to the eventual purchase of a fortwo or refundable at any time). Once smart finalizes its dealership locations in the U.S. (expected to be announced at the end of January), dealers will begin calling reservation holders to formalize their purchase agreements.

Three different models of the smart fortwo will be available in the U.S.: the entry-level pure (starting at $11,590), the well-equipped passion coupe (starting at $13,590) and the convertible passion cabriolet (starting at $16,590). All of the models come with a 3-cylinder, 1-liter gasoline powered engine ...

6 TIPS TO BETTER GAS MILEAGE  by

 Allen Scofield
3/23/2008 at 11:27
With the never ending increase in gas prices, everyone is out looking at how to increase gas mileage in order to save a bit of money. Since the days of low gas prices are long gone, here are some easy tips which should allow you to achieve more gas mileage.

1 Drive Slow

Driving at a speed of less than 65/mph or 120 km/h will help you reduce your gas consumption thus having less to pay for your gas.

2 Check you Pressure Tire

Have your car tires inflated, a poor tire pressure can cost you up to 5% of your overall gas mileage.

3 Make your Car lighter

Some of us like to carry our life in our vehicle and having a heavier car is tougher on your engine therefore using more gas. Clean up your car of all unnecessary stuff!

4 Change your Air Filter

Dirty air filter can prevent as much as 10% fuel economy. Do yourself a favor, buy a new air filter!

5 Tune up your Car

I know this is not a cheap option, but having your car completely tuned up will greatly improve your gas mileage.

6 Accelerate gently and keep your distance

Going full throttle on your pedal is hard on you engine and so it is when you break..so to make sure you avoid always pressing on the accelerator and break pedal keep your distance

Not everyone can afford these days to not look at their driving habits, making few changes can greatly make wonders on your gas budget. These few tips should help ...

EXPLORING THE INS AND OUTS OF GASOLINE  by

 Fei Lim
3/23/2008 at 11:25
As the prices of gas continues to rise in the 21st century, motorists are yearning for the days when the substance that powered their cars cost less than $1 or even closer to $2. The demand for this influential resource has been outweighing the supply long before war broke out in the Middle East. The constant consumption of regular, leaded, unleaded, and now diesel fuel has placed a huge strain on reserves, which has caused prices to reach new heights.

The elevated cost of gasoline has greatly impacted the United States, as well as the rest of the world. The current energy crisis has forced scientists to seek out innovative ways of supplying energy and has encouraged consumers to find other methods of preserving fuel, such as riding a bicycle to work or purchasing electric cars.

In the future, the use of gas alternatives may gain more attention, especially since the following methods are less damaging to the environment: biodiesel, biobutanol, hydrogen fuel, ethanol, and bioethanol.

Taking a Brief Look at Gas Prices

In September 2003, the price of standard crude oil was less than $25 per barrel and with the help of inflation adjustments - it remained below the mark since the middle of the 1980s. However, a chain of events over the past couple of years has caused the price to increase to more than $60 in August 2005 and exceed the $75-mark by the summer of 2006. In October 2007, a barrel of crude oil was $92. The start of 2008 ...

SAVE MONEY ON FUEL AND GAS - USE WATER HYBRID TECH  by

I was lucky to come across old Popular Science and Popular Mechanic magazines. I read every word with thirst. In the classifieds I found intriguing ads for "free energy" books and plans that sparked my imagination. I ordered some books and the information I found in them was hard to believe - Official US Patents showing clear, easy to follow technologies to generate what seemed feasible free energy to the inventor AND to the US government, through its Patent Office!

One thing was not clear though. How come these inventions lie there in dust and nobody’s DOING anything about them? In the big, rich and powerful America?! It took me many years of research to fully realize that there are people who want these technologies suppressed for as long as they possibly can. For profit of course.

It was not hard to figure out that if it took me so much research to get to this information and this understanding, then it follows that the average dude has little chance of finding out. He’s being lied to constantly and massively. My father made sure to teach me all about how impossible free energy was. He kept mentioning extracting energy from water. I kept this at the back of my mind and, as Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot always says, waited for some truth to present itself.

In 2006 it came to me in the shape of a funny little jar that somebody installed in my truck. He said it would generate energy out of ...

SAVE FUEL - RESOLVE PROBLEM OF HIGH VEHICLE FUEL COSTS  by

 Azhar Victor
1/15/2008 at 17:29
The pressure is on for individuals as well as nations. All indications are that there is or are going to be further crude oil price increases. It is imminent. With that, there will be price increases in almost all other services and products as so many of them are in one way or the other dependent on crude oil and its derivatives.Of greatest concern is its effect on essential items. In this category, increase in vehicle fuel is going to further hit those who have been further hit and have long suffered the consequences. In particular, vehicle owners everywhere, with the exception perhaps of those in the oil rich countries, need immediate relief. Is any solution in sight? To be sure, many individuals, groups, corporations and nations around the globe would have committed huge resources in time and money towards resolving the problem or alleviating the situation. Marginal fixes like using the vehicle less, optimum gear shifting, filling up at off peak periods, correct tyre pressure and so on, do not have the desired and significant effect. Of greater interest for vehicle owners, would be, hybrid cars, more fuel efficient engines, fuel saving devices and the like. Off course there is the option, given a choice, to downgrade capacity in terms of engines and the car itself. But there is the question of costs. In our research, we have found that fuel saving devices compare very favorably as against the other options. Then again, there are individual preferences and circumstances, that need ...

ENGINE PROTECTION CAN SAVE GAS AND HELP THE ENVIRONMENT  by

 Chris Robertson
1/15/2008 at 17:28
Today, everyone is feeling the pinch at the pump. Gasoline prices have gone through the roof, and there is little relief in sight. Although some people are able to drive less in order to save gas, and others are able to trade in their vehicles for more fuel efficient models, many of us must drive in order to get to work and aren’t in a position to get a new car.

The Source of the Problem

While there are fuel additives on the market that promise to extend gas mileage, the recurring cost of those additives means that they don’t result in significant savings. To really save gas, we need to take a step back, look at internal combustion engines, and examine ways we can make improvements at the source of the problem.

What’s the problem? Car engines are inherently inefficient. In fact, the U.S. Department of Energy has found that only about 15 percent of the energy in gas is actually used to power our cars. Much of the rest of the energy is expended by the engine and drive train’s moving parts. Oil acts as a lubricant for some of the moving parts, but it’s insufficient to increase MPG, or miles per gallon, of fuel.

Solutions from Science

One of the best solutions comes from metal technology, in the form of a dry lubricant that coats vehicles’ moving parts in order to reduce friction. Once friction has been reduced, a greater percentage of the car’s gas is used to move the car down ...

DIESEL VS HYBRIDS - THE "WHO’S BETTER" DEBATE LINGERS ON  by

 Roman Robinson
1/15/2008 at 17:28
With gasoline prices continuing to skyrocket at gas pumps across the United States, motorists and car manufacturers alike have been searching for a new alternative to gasoline powered cars. However, just what the best alternative really is seems to be a debate that has been brewing amongst those who are most knowledgeable on the topic. With hybrid cars seeming to gain more and more popularity over the past year, some car manufacturers are wondering if electric cars are really the way to go.

An alternative to both hybrid cars and typical gasoline powered cars comes in the form of diesel powered cars. Much cheaper than gasoline, diesel has long provided an alternative fuel for motorists around the world. However, diesel powered cars have not been as successful within the United States. This has baffled many car manufacturers for a long time, given that diesel cars have been prevalent in other parts of the world including Europe for the last seven decades. Many consumers assume that diesel is comparable to gasoline, given that on the surface it seems the same - after all, you can pump both diesel and gasoline at your local gas station. However, diesel powers cars in a somewhat different way than gasoline.

While gasoline uses spark plugs to ignite the gasoline and produce fuel for the vehicle, diesel powered cars use compressed air. Diesel powered driving has long been associated with the big rigs. Eighteen wheelers and other large trucks are fueled by diesel for one main reason - ...

GAS COSTS NEED NOT BREAK YOUR BANK  by

 Charles Essmeier
9/7/2006 at 09:20
After spending most of the summer above $3 per gallon throughout most of the United States, gasoline prices appear to be dropping a bit. That may or may not be temporary; the price of crude oil is affected by many factors, and all of them are volatile. This much is certain, however – gasoline at a dollar a gallon is gone forever. From now on, American consumers are going to have to adjust to spending a lot more money on gasoline than they are accustomed to spending.

Spending more dollars per gallon than one is used to does not mean that buying gas needs to drain your bank account. There are numerous ways to save money on gas. Some are obvious; others are less so. Each of them saves a little bit and has a cumulative affect of keeping your bank balance a bit healthier.

Aside from the obvious savings obtained by buying a fuel efficient car or driving the speed limit whenever possible, here are some other tips for saving money on gas:

# Gasoline is denser at cooler temperatures. You might get a bit more for your money if you buy it in the morning, before the day’s temperatures cause it to expand. This is particularly true if the gas at the station is stored above ground.

# Walk whenever possible. Sure, this one is obvious, but it saves money and is good for you, too.

# When traveling on a freeway, you might save a few pennies per gallon by avoiding the ...

THE MAZDA HYDROGEN VEHICLE CONNECTION  by

 Margaret Adams
9/7/2006 at 09:19
We all know what Mazda is. But as per what a hydrogen vehicle is, that is something not quite familiar for most people. You see, a hydrogen vehicle is actually considered as an alternative fuel vehicle, or an AFV, for instead of using the usual type of fuel or gas to give it power, the hydrogen vehicle can run using hydrogen as the primary source of its power.

So now the question is what is the connected between the Mazda brand and hydrogen vehicles? The answer is quite simple. You see, Mazda has been doing research on hydrogen vehicles. After all, the company has sure been showing very keen interest in this type of vehicle. Perhaps Mazda is still trying to find the answer to some problems that hydrogen powered vehicles pose. One of these is that hydrogen for cars can be quite costly and the vehicle does not perform well. However, with the type of technologies that the industry is capable of doing, perhaps the future is starting to get brighter for Mazda and its interest in hydrogen powered vehicles.

Of course, despite the blatant interest Mazda has with this kind of vehicles, the company still has the time and the capacity to continuously produce new vehicles in their vehicle range. Also, it still continues on creating products for the market like Mazda Tribute auto parts among many others. The company also is still continuously designing, testing, and producing new vehicles for the market.

The hydrogen powered vehicle interest that Mazda has ...
