Link popularity can be simply explains as the total number of links pointing to your site. But please remember link popularity is not all about quantity. It is a mix between quantity and quality.

There are hundreds of ways to get high ranking pr backlinks to your site. And I will give you one of my methods that works very well.
Of course everyone knows the more good content you have and the more back-links you get are essential to your marketing efforts. Without these Internet Marketing techniques you are basically swimming in sand.

In reference to attracting the attention of search engines, one of the buzz phrases tossed around these days is "natural links" as in, "to get the search engines to rank your site well you need to have natural links coming to your site."
In its purest sense natural linking is linking that occurs naturally. You’re probably thinking that’s rather obvious. Think deeper. Your link profile is fundamental to your search engine optimisation efforts. Is it just about how many links you have? Where do these links need to pointing? Is it just about the quality of those links?
Your link profile is more complex than you might think and Google uses ever aspect of it to decide where to rank your site. No matter what you do on page, it is not going to have the same SEO impact as building a solid link profile will.
